1. Does San Diego Esquire provide legal advice to all customers?

No. You must sign an attorney-client agreement to receive legal advice from us. We only provide legal advice when such an agreement has been executed to form an attorney-client relationship. You will receive an attorney-client agreement via email once you sign up for our services. Contact us if you have any questions regarding this agreement.

2. Are your services refundable?

3. Will I work with an attorney or paralegal? 

Our attorney will work with you one-on-one in preparing your legal documents.  We only represent one party in uncontested divorces, legal separation, and postnuptial  agreement drafting or review services.

4. How does your online process work?

Get started with our quick client intake. We will review the information provided and send a subsequent email detailing whether we need any additional information to start your matter along with the attorney client agreement. Once we receive all of the required information to complete your forms or agreement, you will receive the completed documents  within 3 to 5 business days. Please allow enough time for us to draft the documents you need before your court filing deadline approaches. Our services are not recommended for “Pro Se” litigants who have less than 15 court days to respond to an pleading/motion.

5. How long will it take for me to receive my documents?

You will receive your completed documents via email within 3 to 5 business days after all questionnaires and all necessary information is received. There will be delays in completing the ordered documents if all necessary information is not provided in a timely manner.

6. After I receive my documents, what happens next?

We will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to file your documents with the local court clerk or we will send them to opposing counsel. All “Pro Se” customers are required to manage all aspects of their case. We provide case management services for an additional fee.
