4. What is the difference between a legal document preparer and an attorney?
Legal document preparers, also known as legal document assistants, draft legal documents to file with the court. LDAs cannot provide consumers with legal advice. San Diego Esquire provides standard legal document preparation or attorney-led legal document preparation service. For the former service, your documents will be prepared without legal advice and guidance. For the later service, you can consult with an attorney who will provide you with legal advice in regards to your legal matter and completed documents.
Our attorney led service requires an attorney-client agreement. If you do not receive a signed agreement from San Diego Esquire, and attorney-client relationship has not been formed. Contact us at email@example.com for more information.
